传统铜雕佛像贴金技法：利用传统贴金技法制作出的铜雕工艺品的贴金效果不相同，主要是因为处理底漆所使用胶水的配制不同，现在常用的胶水主要有水溶胶和牙膏胶这两种。水溶胶比较容易配制和操作，但是贴金效果一般没有牙膏胶的黄金质感好。使用牙膏胶溶剂是直接在铜雕佛像的表面打胶后，不作保护漆，真实地体现黄金的原色，缺点就是不经碰撞，稍微用力刮擦就把表层的金箔刮掉。以前的工艺也曾在金箔表面涂上清漆加以保护，但是不能体现黄金的原色了。
